NÚI VÂN LONG VÀ NGƯ ÔNG HOÁ THẠCH

Vân Long được bao bọc bởi những ngọn núi đá vôi, có muôn hình vạn trạng với hệ thống hang động phong phú với những khối nhũ thạch kỳ thú, mọi thứ như gom lại càng tô vẽ thêm một bức tranh thuỷ mạc đầy màu sắc làm lôi cuốn lòng người.

Theo các tài liệu chứng minh xưa kia Vân Long là một vùng biển nông, do quá trình biển thoái, biển lui đã hình thành núi đá vôi và không ngoại lệ do quá trình tích tụ nước biển, do tích tụ xác, vỏ xương loài sinh vật biển đã hình thành núi đá vôi.

Hợp tác xã dịch vụ du lịch sinh thái Vân Long giới thiệu tới du khách một kiệt tác mà tạo hoá đã ban tặng “ Ngư Ông Hoá Thạch”. Theo truyền thuyết kể lại Vân Long xưa là vùng biển có rất nhiều loài sinh vật biển khủng lồ hung dữ có thể làm nguy hại đến con người. Và chỉ có loài cá voi biết bảo vệ và cứu giúp dân làng khi gặp nạn trên biển. Một sự trùng hợp thật ngẫu nhiên khi  Vân Long có dãy núi hình Ngư Ông Hoá Thạch càng thể hiện sự chở che bao bọc tới con người. Chính vì điều này mà người dân vùng Vân Long nói riêng và người dân vùng biển nói chung đã biết ơn và thờ cúng loài cá voi tới ngày nay.

Vân Long is surrounded by limestone mountains of all shapes and sizes, with a rich system of caves featuring fascinating stalactites and stalagmites, all combining to further embellish a vibrant landscape painting that captivates the heart. According to historical documents, Vân Long was once a shallow sea. Through the process of sea retreat, limestone mountains were formed, and unsurprisingly, from the accumulation of seawater, along with the accumulation of the remains, shells, and bones of marine creatures, limestone mountains took shape. The Vân Long Ecotourism Services Cooperative introduces visitors to a masterpiece bestowed by nature: “The Fisherman Turns to Stone.” According to legend, Vân Long used to be a sea inhabited by many huge, fierce marine creatures that could threaten humans. Only the whales knew how to protect and rescue villagers in danger at sea. A remarkable coincidence occurs with Vân Long having a mountain range shaped like the Fisherman Turned to Stone, further symbolizing protection and shelter for people. It is for this reason that the people of the Van Long area in particular, and the coastal people in general, have been grateful to and have worshiped whales to this day.
